Nkrani is a non-profit organisation utilising local talent to find innovative solutions.
How do we work?
Partnering with Communities
We rely on donations, grants from global organizations that align with the projects undertaken and other sustainable forms of funding. These funds are raised to execute specific projects in our portfolio.
Nkrani is a social movement with a clear mission to tap into the human resources of a nation, both within the country and in the diaspora, in order to drive development. By upskilling volunteers, developing communities, and providing mentorships. This approach addresses the common issue of unskilled labor in developing countries.
The name "Nkrani", meaning soldier ants, reflects the determination and resilience of the organization in overcoming obstacles and making a lasting impact in the communities we serve.
Fundraising
To make a lasting and effective impact, we cannot work in silos, insulating ourselves from the same opportunies we hope to transform. We must therefore engage with both local and foreign communities and also partner with organizations and companies with similar vision to foster a collective force for impactful change.
